Story:
Nevada.... Nevada for a week and a half... Lilly thought that over. She would be back in the states for the first time since the tornado... since she learned of her father's secret island. Since she learned that her life had been... not a lie... but not a full truth. Olivia sat in the living quarters of her trailer, a drink in one hand and her head resting in the other. She had already shown some in the past days, but that was with Chick, her mare had noticed a change in her handler, but she knew her job and did it, to try and raise up Lilly's spirits. But today... today was the test of Lilly's ability to get over her pains and show the newest star at BM... er, 'Ahiu Lio Ranch.
Setting the crystal cut glass down, Olivia stood up and walked out of the living area and headed to the barns before the sun had risen to go do up Missy's mane, and start brushing her down. Snow was to be coming, and she wanted her filly ready to go and a blanket on her to keep her warm and smooth for the show ring. Olivia tried to work without breaking down, but when so much had just been thrown on you, and you had no one to support you, no family, no true friends, and no lover, it made it hard for such a young person. Lilly tied up the blanket on Scotch then went towards Chicky's stall. She stopped short though when her mare looked at with her deep brown eyes and glimpses of that terrible night rushed back to her. A deep and sharp inhale could be heard from Lilly as she suddenly ran to her tack stall and tried not to cry...

It was not seeming to long after Lilly had broken down that she soon realized she had to go get dressed for the Young Stock Halter class. She ran back to her trailer, grabbed her clothes and ran back to change in the tack stall so she didn't walk in the slush of rain/snow on the ground in her clean showman clothes. Olivia changed quickly, went to the arena for the opening for the day, then she went back and got Scotch out of her stall and lead the young filly to the indoor arena, her blanket still on to keep her warmer from the blowing wind.
Inside the arena was better than being outside, even if it wasn't perfect. Lilly took the blanket off a few minutes before and wiped her filly down so she was smooth and glistening, then, in a calm manner she walked Missy into the ring, trotted for the judges to see her tracking, then lined up with the other young horses and waited for the true inspection to being while keeping a fake smile on her face, more to fool herself than the judges....
I'm just saying this, if anyone who is serious about RP'ing, if you would like to do any kind of rp for this show or just with Lilly/staff of 'Ahiu then feel free to comment or note me.
shout out to *angry-horse-for-life for doing a red lining of my handler, I looked at yours while redoing my own person so thanks to her I have a much more equal and balanced Olivia showing Missy.
